A Personal Approach to IB DP Tutoring
Mr. Nishit’s adapts each lesson to the student’s understanding and current schoolwork. Guided examples establish a method; independent questions reveal where further explanation is needed. Regular feedback helps students recognise errors and approach unfamiliar questions with greater confidence.
IB Maths Tutoring
He’s IB Mathematics teaching spans DP and MYP, with experience supporting both programmes since 2012. In DP, he helps AA and AI students develop analytical reasoning, modelling skills and purposeful calculator use at HL and SL. His MYP support emphasises investigating patterns, communicating mathematics and applying ideas in unfamiliar contexts. Lessons address gaps in understanding while developing the independence students need for assessments and the transition from MYP to Diploma Mathematics.

My daughter has been taking maths tutoring from Mr. Nishit Kumar for MYP. We started just six months before the exams because she needed some support with some of the concepts. Nishit was a fantastic find - he helped clarify her doubts, helped strengthen her strategies and got her the boost in confidence she needed. Thereafter, my daughter did very well in the mocks and also scored very high in the MYP results. I would recommended him greatly to other students pursuing this stream.

I highly recommend Baccalaureate Classes! Nishit sir’s teaching was instrumental in my success with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. His approach to Higher Level Math AA and SL Physics was exceptional—his explanations were clear, his problem-solving strategies effective, and his passion for the subject was truly motivating. Thanks to his guidance, I achieved a 6 in Math AA and 7 in SL Physics, which was beyond my expectations. Overall, Baccalaureate Classes, and especially Nishant Sir, played a crucial role in my academic achievements. If you’re looking for dedicated and knowledgeable tutors who genuinely care about their students’ success, this is the place to go!

I would highly recommend baccalaureate classes. Throughout the course of my IB DP years my math AA SL tuition helped me bring up my grade 2 marks ( out of 7) , helping me reach my university offers. The courses were structured, chapter to chapter, using varied resources, and targeting any weakness I held in certain areas. Exam preparation is efficient and timely, with the use of past papers, mock papers, and rigorous weak spot targeting ( and bettering) . I am very grateful to Nishit Sir and Baccalaureate Classes for helping me with IB math, and would without a doubt recommend to those seeking to improve their grades.
